Project Objectives: It is aimed to increase the awareness of occupational health and safety in the marble sector, to reduce occupational accidents and injuries, to make safe production and to contribute to the establishment of occupational health and safety awareness.
Activities / Outputs: Within the scope of the determined provinces (Sivas and Muğla) the following activities will be completed;
- Raising OHS awareness through seminars and informing employers in a certain number of marble production enterprises,
- Ensuring the raising of OHS awareness among employees in a certain number of marble production enterprises,
- Raising awareness in the field of OHS in the families of the employers and employees of a certain number of marble production enterprises,
- The most important output of the project is the training system to be established. A training system will be established in the field of OHS in marble quarrying and marble production, which is one of the sectors where the literacy rate is very low.
