MISGEP Interactive Theatre play “SHIFT STORIES WITH FOREMAN GÜVEN” which is prepared under the “Interactive Training Seminars Through Drama” activity of the Improving Occupational Health and Safety Especially in Mining Sector Project (MISGEP), financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey, and carried out by the Directorate General of Occupational Health and Safety (DGOHS) of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security has completed its July tour programme after 2 seminars in Adana.
First seminar of the Adana tour was staged for the employees of Çeltik Madencilik (Mining) operating in the Aladağ district. Mine employees attended the seminar with their families, bringing color to the interactive theatre event, which took place in the yard of Şehit Arif Memiş Primary School. The very next day, MISGEP tour stage went on to Feke, a district of Adana, and opened its curtains for the employees of H2O2 Peroxide Production and Energy Inc. Opinions and contributions from the participants have been received at both events which attracted a lot of attention.
“Shift Stories with Foreman Güven” which began its tour on 28 June 2021 at Manisa, with the objective of encouraging communication and co-operation amongst mine employees and the creation of team spirit via MISGEP Interactive Seminars Through Drama, and reached approximately 3000 mine employees in 5 districts at the end of July. MISGEP Tour Stage will continue in August to meet with mine employees who are working in the various mining establishments around the many provinces of Turkey.
