The promotional event for the mining enterprises in İzmir and the surrounding area (Aegean and Marmara regions) under the “Financial Support and Guidance Programme” developed within the scope of the Improvement of Occupational Health and Safety Especially in the Mining Sector Project (MISGEP) carried out by the Directorate General of Occupational Health and Safety (DGOHS) of Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services and financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey was held on September 8, 2020. The “Online Promotional Event of the Financial Support and Guidance Programme”, which will provide EUR 7.6 million of “financial support and guidance”, started with the opening speech of the Director General of OHS Mr. Cafer UZUNKAYA, after information about the program was given by the Deputy Director General of OHS Mr. Burhanettin KURT.
Right after the opening session, the ISGinfo briefing session was held. MİSGEP Team Leader Gökhan GÜLER provided detailed information about the Employment, Education and Social Policies Sectoral Operational Programme, and the Financial Support and Guidance Component of MİSGEP, and MİSGEP Key Training Expert Mr. Naci SALİ provided detailed information regarding the evaluation criteria, eligibility and the application process. After the presentations, the questions received from the participants online were answered with the participation of Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services Expert Ms. Funda ÖZÇELİK.
