Within the scope of the Technical Assistance for Improving Occupational Health and Safety Especially in Mining Sector (MISGEP) carried out by the Directorate General of Occupational Health and Safety of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services and financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey, the Programme, which will provide “financial support and guidance” of 7.6 million Euro for the improvement of OHS conditions in mining workplaces, will be introduced on 8 September 2020 for mining enterprises in İzmir and its surrounding areas (Aegean and Marmara regions), and on 11 September 2020 for mining enterprises in Ankara and its surrounding areas (Central Anatolia, Southern Anatolia, Southeast Anatolia, East Anatolia and Black Sea regions).
Director General of Occupational Health and Safety Mr. Cafer UZUNKAYA will make the opening speech of the event, which will take place in a video conference format. Afterwards, the participants will be informed about the financial support and guidance, evaluation criteria, eligibility, application rules and application process by MISGEP experts within the scope of the Program.
