INTERACTIVE TRAINING SEMINARS
The interactive theatre play “Shift Stories with Foreman Güven” which was prepared under the “Interactive Training Seminars through Drama” activity of the Improving Occupational Health and Safety Especially in Mining Sector Project (MISGEP), and which went to dozens of mines from the east to the west of Turkey from 28 June 2021 to 20 October 2021, met with 20.235 mining employees. Within the scope of the Interactive Training Seminars through Drama;
- 8 scenarios were staged, each lasting between 8 and 10 minutes.
- While the scenarios were being staged by 6 actors, questions were asked by the seminar moderator to the audience and their opinions and contributions were received.
- With 58 seminars in 28 provinces, 10,235 mining employees were reached.
The primary target group of Interactive Training Seminars Through Drama is the mine employees in the workplaces that are covered within the scope of the Financial Support and Guidance Programme, one of the components of MISGEP. For this reason, the event was held in the planned 28 indicative provinces within the scope of the FSGP in the surface and underground mines, coal, marble and metal mining workplaces (NACE 05, 07 and 08).
The half-day seminars, each of which aims to strengthen the team spirit by encouraging communication and cooperation among the mine employees, are designed to create interaction between the actors and the audience. Its first screening was held in Ankara with the participation of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, Directorate General of Occupational Health and Safety and the stakeholders. The interactive theatre “Shift Stories with Foreman Güven”, which was prepared within the scope of Interactive Training Seminars through Drama, met with mine employees for the first time in Manisa at the MISGEP Tour Stage and started its tour journey. The event was staged for the last time on October 20, 2021, in Nallıhan Ankara, with the participation of Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security Prof. Dr. Lutfihak ALPKAN and the General Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety senior officials.
