Safe Business, Safe Future Project held the closing meeting with the “OHS Culture Symposium”

Within the scope of the grant component of the Improving Occupational Health and Safety in Mining Project (MISGEP) with a budget of 17.6 million euros, where the Directorate General of Occupational Health and Safety is the Operation Beneficiary and the Directorate of European Union and Financial Assistance is the Contracting Authority,t “Safe Job, Safe Future Project” carried out by İskenderun Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School (MTAL) completed the 12-month project period and held the closing meeting and OHS Culture Symposium on 25.01.2022.

During the project, basic occupational health and safety trainings were provided to 350 Metal and Machinery Industry employees by using virtual reality environment, occupational hygiene measurement laboratory created within Iskenderun Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and occupational safety experts working in the National Education Directorates in Hatay were provided. In addition, working environment measurements and personal exposure measurements were made in a total of five Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools in the districts of İskenderun, Antakya, Payas and Dörtyol.
