Project Objectives: The objectives of the project are to establish training areas to increase occupational health and safety qualifications related to working at height, to create the occupational health and safety culture required for working at height, to raise awareness of occupational health and safety in working environments, and to increase the capacity of human resources of employees and employers in very hazardous sectors. Within the scope of the project, it is aimed to raise occupational health and safety awareness in sectors where working at height is required, and to prevent occupational accidents and deaths, through scenarios to be created with the virtual reality technology.
Activities / Outputs:
Within the scope of the project, virtual reality application qualifications for working at height will be determined and training programmes will be prepared within the framework of the determined criteria.
A new model will be created for applied training in a virtual reality environment in order to provide occupational health and safety culture and awareness to the target groups. Interactive publications will be created in the field of occupational health and safety.
Within the scope of the project, 2 application centers will be developed in BUTGEM and 6 working at height application training will be organised and 200 employees, 40 employers, 20 union representatives and 10 occupational safety experts from the target sector will benefit from these trainings.
Within the scope of disseminating the project and increasing its visibility, 10,000 interactive occupational health and safety publications will be prepared, 3 press conferences will be held, 3 local television programmes will be attended, video channels will be created to reach the maximum beneficiaries, and brochures and posters will be prepared and distributed.
