Project Objectives:                         

  • Contributing to the mitigation of occupational accidents by raising awareness of Occupational Health and Safety in the Construction Sector, raising awareness of safety culture through trainings to be delivered to employers/employer representatives, site supervisors and the foremen of different companies in Bursa within the scope of the project,
  • Contributing to the improvement of the working environment conditions in the construction sector in Bursa with the applied trainings and good practice transfers to be delivered within the scope of the project,
  • Reaching local stakeholders through panels and seminars to be held with the participation of relevant stakeholders,

Activities / Outputs:

  • Target groups, their safety culture levels and the training needs of target groups will be determined.
  • Curriculum and training documents will be prepared.
  • Two good practice examples and one training institute within the European Union will be visited.
  • An Occupational Safety Strategy Report in the Construction Sector will be created with an assessment panel including target groups.
  • Dissemination activities, seminars for sector employees, certificate ceremony will be held, and project results will be published on the website.
  • Project closing meeting and project final report will be written.
  • Creating training materials and tools,
  • Trainings of employer/employer representatives, site supervisors and foremen in Bursa, 
  • Seminar for employees,
  • 2 good practice examples and 1 training institution site visit,
  • Increasing the level of safety culture in target groups,
  • Social dialogue through panels with the employees/employers,
  • Publishing the training documents on the web page,
