IMPROVEMENT OF OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (IOHS) GRANT PROGRAMME IMPLEMENTATION TRAINING WAS HELD.

The third component of “Improving Occupational Health and Safety Especially in the Mining Sector Project (MISGEP)”, which is financed by the Republic of Turkey and the European Union, “Improving Occupational Health and Safety (IOHS) Grant Programme” was started with the opening speeches of the Delegation of the EU to Turkey Sector Manager Mr. Mehmet Caner DEMİR and the Director General of Occupational Health and Safety (DGOHS) Cafer UZUNKAYA with the “Grant Implementations Training” online event held on 16–19 February 2021. 

On the first day of the three-day training programme, the grant beneficiaries were informed about the activities of the DGOHS within the scope of DGOHS and IOHS Grant fields, thematic monitoring activities and MISGEP. On the second day of the program, the participants were informed about the documentation and accounting requirements, payment methods, visibility rules, general activities to be carried out within the projects, and the use of Grant Monitoring Information System (PROJEMATIK). Round-table meetings were held on the last day of the event. Practical training was given to grant beneficiaries in 9 different online rooms under the guidance of the experts from the Contracting Authority and Operations Beneficiary. 

“The Implementation Training for the Improvement of Occupational Health and Safety (IOHS) Grant Programme” ended with the evaluation meeting moderated by the EU Expert Mr. Dilşad TAŞKIN from the Directorate of European Union and Financial Assistance.
