Kütahya tour of the interactive theatre play “SHIFT STORIES WITH FOREMAN GÜVEN” of the MISGEP Interactive Theatre Tour which is prepared under the “Interactive Training Seminars through Drama” activity of the Improving Occupational Health and Safety Especially in Mining Sector Project (MISGEP), financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey and carried out by the Directorate General of Occupational Health and Safety (DGOHS) of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, was completed with 6 theatre plays staged on 6-9 September 2021.
The guests of the two interactive theatre plays which were performed on the first day of the MISGEP Tour Stage were the employees of Kayasu Madencilik (Mining) and Park Teknik operating in the Tunçbilek district. On the second day of the tour, the MISGEP Tour Stage was in the Kırık Village of the Tavşanlı district. In Tavşanlı, the play was staged for Mutaş Madencilik (Mining) employees. On September 8, the tour moved to the Gökler Town of Gediz. With the three plays staged there, the play was performed fo the employees of Atılal, Karaelmas, and Gediz Madencilik (Mining). On September 9, which was the last day of the tour, the MISGEP Tour Stage opened its curtains twice for the employees of Eti Gümüş Madencilik (Mining) in Gümüşköy. Opinions and contributions of the participants were received at the event, which attracted great attention and was watched by approximately 1000 employees.
With the MISGEP Tour Stage, which was prepared within the scope of “Interactive Training Seminars Through Drama”, developed with the drama technique, which is one of the most effective methods for understanding human behavior, communication-based topics and abstract concepts, almost 60 seminars will be held by going to the mining pits where the mine employees in more than 30 provinces work and 10.000 mine employees will be reached. MISGEP Tour Stage will visit the provinces of Bursa, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, Edirne, Mersin, Niğde, Gaziantep, Adıyaman, Siirt, Hakkari and Kastamonu in September to meet with mine employees.
